FEDERICO CHIANUCCI
pop/folk
Visit the website of Federico Chianucci

Federico Chianucci was born on October 3rd 1974. He spent his adolescence by running after a ball on uncultivated fields in front of his home, dreaming to become a great football player, one day. But soon another idea comes up in Federico’s mind, initially lived more like a dream: the one of writing songs where the guitar can have a first level role, which is a very rare characteristic in the Italian pop music. The choice of writing songs in English is due to this aspect, which were suitable to the first melodic compositions. In the meanwhile various music experiences happen in Federico’s life, from guitar teaching to children, to piano bar at weddings and parties. But the whole musical aspect remains of secondary importance in his priority scale. Actually he entered the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Florence, and the primary target is to complete his studies and getting his graduation. This is what happened in April 26th 2004 and then Federico feels to be free to dedicate completely to music. Thanks to the meeting with Remo Francesconi in 2005, important figure at Fonit and his current producer, the chance to record his first work “Volo nel blu” becomes true, which was mastered in the Fonoprint studios in bologna in November 2007. In this adventure, Federico, together with his brother Francesco – also guitarist and singer – will be involved in all aspects of the CD production: from the musical to the graphical one, from the producing to the promotional one. “Volo nel blu” is distinguished by the current musical outline not just for the beauty of the lyrics, but also and most of all for the refinement of arrangements which, going from rock to country, from pop to blues, gives wide and deep atmospheres to this whole work.
